Meditation can be described as any form of deep thinking, musing, concentration, etc. but its true meaning defines something much more than just the process of deep thought. To understand meditation, one must understand the mind. In a modern world, the mind becomes tangled in the disruptions of every day life- meditation is the process of quieting that state of mind. Meditation can also be described as a process that moves blocked energy in the body. By bringing awarenss to that energy, it is said to have astonshing results on the physical body. There are many different forms and ways to move energy and meditate: Qi Gong, Reiki, vibrational sounds, colors, imagery, aromas, breathing methods, etc. All of which can be very helpful in balancing everyday life.
